Email addiction is growing, with no cure in sight, according to eROI’s September Email Addiction Survey. The study, reported by Marketing VOX, shows that some 61 percent of survey respondents said they continue to check email even while on vacation.

UK’s worst spammer loses appeal
The Register has a story about Peter Francis-Macrae, 24-year-old, who was convicted on a variety of charges ranging from fraud and blackmail to making threats to kill and sentenced to six years imprisonment. He has failed in an appeal court bid to quash two of his convictions.
