Millions of AOL, Compuserve and Netscape customers around the world were experiencing delays in sending and receiving e-mails Thursday, reports CNN. The problem was discovered about 11 a.m. ET, according to Nicholas Graham of AOL Corporate Communications.

For those of you who tried to send your e-mail to our colleagues or an e-mail newsletter near the weekend, it should be made aware that your AOL users later than usual.

AOL said that it as not an outage, but only a delay in their e-mail servers due to millions of e-mails queueing.
